    Got my OSSC yesterday with two remotes in the order and exact same issue as the OP

    Though I have no been able to test the remote on my TV yet

    Edit Update:
    I did some fiddling around and I tested my Toshiba CT-877 on my OSSC and the OSSC seems to be respond to it.
    I’m pretty sure in this case it is only the remote that is the culprit here.

    I’m terrible with this programming stuff…right now I’m trying to figure out how to properly configure the Toshiba CT-877.
    Any one have any tips regarding this?

    Edit Update 2:
    Great news… came back home with brand new batteries bought… the two remotes worked!
    Guess the batteries I had were old or had expired.
