Downloaded the 0.81 beta version, definitely loving the multiplication method. The color output does seem different (less saturated for sure), but it doesn’t seem like it’s at risk of being black and white at full scanline strength and hybrid strength at all.
Using 25% scanline strength, 100% hybrid.
As mentioned before, 5x resolution isn’t working with this. There’s a persistent noise glitch that can’t be remedied with anything I can find. Is there any way you can get access to a monitor that displays 5x? My display rounds the pixels on 4x a little too much for my liking, but 5x is nice and sharp.
Hopefully this makes it into the official firmware. Great work!
