@marqs I increased the Analog sync Vth from the default 123mV to mid 247mv as increasing to higher mV values delays the signal drop. The signal dropping seems to stopped at 247mV for now. Why is the signal dropping at 123mV and will there be a fix implemented for the next firmware update?
I just dusted off my 1.7 ossc and did the r35 to u21 wire mod. I updated to the latest v1.11a firmware and using the default profile (no profiles added). My tv is a sony bravia x90j on the latest system update. My PS2 model is scph-30001 (in ypbpr video setting) and I’m using an hd retrovision PS2 component cable connected from the console to the ossc, and Belkin 2M Ultra HD HDMI 2.1 cable.
Edit: I increased value to 293mV but the signal still drops but not as frequently. Increasing the value to 304mV causes the tv signal to completely drop needing a reboot.
Edit 2: I changed the following under the settings, Sync opt./ADC PLL BW = Low and Compatibility/Allow TVP HPLL2x = On. Also changed the value back to the default 123mV in Analog sync Vth. The black signal dropouts have stopped (for now). I’ll post back after a long gaming session.
