When I launch Genesis Plus on the Wii Homebrew Channel, I lose video signal in both pure and adaptive modes. There’s no video, and video only works in scaler mode. Then, when I restart the device, pure and adaptive modes work again. It’s annoying having to keep restarting the device. This bug started after update 0.79. My OSSC PRO model is black without the gold lettering. The Wii is connected using the official Nintendo component cable. Apologies for my poor English; I used Google Translate. Thanks.

Will need to investigate if I can reproduce this. It doesn’t sound like the issue is related to display, but you could still try the new “Full TX setup” compatibility option in output menu which was added for monitors which lose picture/sound permanently upon too quick change of mode.

I’m having an issue with the new 0.79 OSSC Pro update. It installs but stays on the Test Pattern and won’t get off it. Even if my system is turned on to AV1. It’s locked to Test Pattern. I tried re downloading it and reinstalled the update 5 times. Same outcome. So I went back to 0.78 and it my ossc pro works perfect with 0.78. Just thought you should know.

It sounds similar to an issue which occurred on a prototype board, but should not happen on the production board especially if the info screen shows Aug 11 date code for the fw and you don’t have anything plugged into USB port.
