The product listing states to use self tapping screws 6-10 mm long, but that doesn’t help much. Looking around, screws of just the right length and being designed for electronics aren’t easy to find.

Has anyone tried if e.g. regular M3 screws for mounting stuff in PCs work?

Since the plastic isn’t pre-threaded you need a self tapping screw, often more designed for woodwork.

That’s exactly what makes suitable screws hard to find! 🙂

Wood screws that small and short seem to be rare in hardware stores, especially ones that aren’t countersunk (of course a countersunk screw works, but it isn’t preferable.)
