Down where the black is, which is yellowish colour. Not black.
Is not a border, but a background does not make it black.
I tested the old Samsung led with scart implanted ( no ossc ) and shows no yellowish. http://i.picpar.com/Jbtd.jpg

So OSSC has bad black which gives yellow. Any tips

Never seen this before, it is maybe some TV setting that is different on HDMI to SCART input?

Could it be caused by a mismatch of the full/limited color setting?

If you play Chrono Cross and speak to ai then you do not see transparent black, but brown yellowish. The ossc cannot make black background. It lacks ( create ) black background. But if you try old Samsung LED with scart, you will see it has black background and not brown, yellowish. Cannot say if Framemeister has black background.

OSSC does not give black backround when dark. It gives yellow.
Only led tv scart can give official black background. Means OSSC is not good.
Or someone knows how to fix it?

Did you buy the OSSC from this shop or did you buy the Chinese version from eBay/AliExpress?

Try to use a different TV or change the HDMI black level setting.

Why don’t you guys check your black background? Try Star Ocean PS1, which was mine .

What are the firmware revision of your OSSC and your settings? It can helps to determine if it’s a software or a hardware issue.

It might be a defective unit, but before arranging a return with the place you bought it from, I’d test another console and/or display just to make sure the issue isn’t elsewhere
