Hello,
I received my OSSC this week and I have the following setup:Mega drive Model 1 PAL
RGB SCART cable stereo (takes the audio from the headphones)When I connect it directly to my monitor It works fine, audio and everything.
When I connect it to the OSSC the image is randomly lost and the audio is Lost every now and then. At some point the OSSC LCD starts showing wrong modes and weird characters and even a blank screen while the red LED is on too.
An example:

January 27, 2018 at 9:32 AM #18771Hello,
the cable I’m using is this one:
http://retrocables.es/tienda/index.php?id_product=57&controller=product&id_lang=4It is not clearly stated whether it is csync or compositve video for sync.
This morning I tried two new setups though:
1. Mega Drive Model II with this SCART cable:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sega-Mega-Drive-2-II-High-Quality-RGB-Scart-TV-Lead-Video-Cable-/261091969356?hash=item3cca4b494cThis one I can tell your for sure it is csync as it is clearly stated in the label. I have exactly the same issues as with my previous setup.
2. PSONE SCHP 102 with a sync-on-luma SCART RGB cable. Same issues as with my previous two setups.
January 27, 2018 at 10:38 AM #18774It is possible that those Megadrive cables aren’t correctly wired for 75ohm csync. We’d always recommend getting your cables from Retrogamingcables.co.uk.
This could have damaged your OSSC but honestly it’s unlikely, so we’ll swap it under warranty if you e-mail in, but please make sure to use only cables with properly terminated 75ohm csync in future.
January 27, 2018 at 1:06 PM #18780Thanks, I have already e-mailed in.
I will order some cables from Retrogamingcables.co.uk ASAP and use only those next time just in case.
Just to be completely sure could you please let me know if these are the right cables?
For my Mega Drive II:

https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/packapunch-range/sega-mega-drive-1-sega-genesis-1-stereo-rgb-av-scart-cable-tv-lead-pro-buildFor my PSONE:
https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/packapunch-range/PlayStation-Packapunch/SONY-PLAYSTATION-PACKAPUNCH-RGB-SCART-CABLE-PROThey are all CSYNC so I guess they should be fine.
January 30, 2018 at 10:01 PM #18859They will be fine, RGC wires his cables correctly for 75ohm sync. On the pack a punch ones, choose 75 ohm sync from the drop down unless your console has been internally modded to output 75ohm sync.
