0.70 update: it fixed my audio problem with hdr, but I don’t have the chance to test direct-to-tv audio quite yet. 1080p on my 360 still doesn’t work.

I bought a cheap hdcp stripper off amazon and that solved the problem with my ps3! Looks glorious in hdr. This is the one I bought, so if anyone else comes across this problem, I CAN confirm that…Read more

Yeah, I also upgraded from the ossc classic (first edition, with only dvi out lol). In that setup I ran audio separately though to an avr, so with the pro i was like ‘ohey, i can do audio now’ and my tv was like NOPE lol

Yeah, no audio directly from the ossc to the tv, regardless of the hdr toggle being on or off. The switch and wii u are working just fine through the pro, at 1080p. It’s just the 360 that isn’t. When the hdcp stripper arrives, I can check on the ps3 and let you know, but the nintendo stuff is working fine through the pro. Nothing has direct audio…Read more

I didn’t know about the HDCP thing until someone got back to me on facebook about it, so I ordered a device that should be able to do that for the ps3. For the 360, I set the pixel de-repetition to 2 and it made the image all pixelated and low res looking despite still being 720p. 1080 still doesn’t work. This is going from the ossc to the avr, an…Read more

The Pro’s remote has a lot of unused or ‘future use’ buttons, and one feature I’d love to have a toggle button for is HDR, just to toggle it on or off depending on the situation or screen. Some things look great with it, while others suffer, so it’d be nice to have a quick toggle for those situations.

I’ve also been having issues with the OSSC Pro and the PS3 and 360. In the case of my PS3, I can’t get it to work on the pro at all over hdmi. I’ve toggled every resolution possible on the console, all color range options, directly wired it to the pro and tried switch boxes, and nothing. It sees the 67k hz signal and the resolution according to…Read more

Hey everyone, I got a pro this week and have encountered a few weird things. First up, a weird issue with HDR support. I think it’s just a bug, but I felt I should mention it. When turning HDR on, the pro is switching the audio from surround to stereo, and sometimes, adjusting the quad stereo option will turn hdr off or vice versa. I have to…Read more
