The issue must have been introduced by the HDMI to YPbPr adapter I was using initially.

I’m trying to output 540p to my HDCRT, but the resulting image scrolls slowly upwards. Any suggesting on how to fix this?

Setup details:
1920×540 test pattern > HDMI OUT > HDMI to Component converter (passive) > Component IN on Sony KD34XS955. HDPT has been disabled on the TV as well to stop any digital processing.
