So it seems the only thing that has changed is that HDMI switch no longer works as an HDCP stripper on the later firmwares.

I guess I’ll have to source a new device to strip out the HDCP.

(specifically it’s a Kinivo 550BN) Plugged into that auto switcher is a PS4 (set to only output 480p), a PS3 and a PS Vita TV. When using 0.78 or 0.77, only the test pattern properly gets sent to my displays. I can navigate the OSD just fine on a 15khz CRT or on a 1080p LCD panel, but the actual video from AV4 does not get passed through even though the OSSC Pro’s display appears to be correctly identifying the signal.…Read more
