I have been doing some tests and it looks like the trembling only happens when I enable the line 2x 320×240 optim, 256×240 optim and line 3x optim modes.
If I set just generic 16:9/4:3 modes the trembling goes away.
Is this something expected?
No, it has not been modified.
I can tell you that my PAL PS1 does not have the trembling though.
Thanks.
Hi. When connecting the SCART cable to my monitor directly there is no such trembling. Everything seems fine.
Thanks, I have already e-mailed in.
I will order some cables from Retrogamingcables.co.uk ASAP and use only those next time just in case.
Just to be completely sure could you please let me know if these are the right cables?
For my Mega Drive II:

For my Mega Drive I:

For my PSONE:

They are all CSYNC so I guess they should be fine.
Hello,
the cable I’m using is this one:
http://retrocables.es/tienda/index.php?id_product=57&controller=product&id_lang=4
It is not clearly stated whether it is csync or compositve video for sync.
This morning I tried two new setups though:
1. Mega Drive Model II with this SCART cable:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sega-Mega-Drive-2-II-High-Quality-RGB-Scart-TV-Lead-Video-Cable-/261091969356?hash=item3cca4b494c
This one I can tell your for sure it is csync as it is clearly stated in the label. I have exactly the same issues as with my previous setup.
2. PSONE SCHP 102 with a sync-on-luma SCART RGB cable. Same issues as with my previous two setups.
