That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. I think having the option would be nice even if the result is not completely accurate but I understand why it hasn’t been implemented.

Yes I’m sure, I’ve been able to adjust the aspect ratio in adaptive line multiplier with my Wii plugged in through component, GC through component and Xbox through Scart. HDMI is the only input where I haven’t been able to do so.
Is there any reason why it shouldn’t be possible in line multiplier mode? It has the option after all and, once again, has worked fine with any other input other than HDMI.
Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. Aspect ratio can’t be changed on my TV when it’s receiving a 2560×1440 signal. I was able to adjust the aspect ratio in line multiplier mode with a different input so shouldn’t it be able to be done or am I missing something?
