@ssaylanc I’ve seen somewhat similar artifacting in my setup in the past. It seemed to be linked to the video cable needing to be plugged in tighter and another time it was shoddy HDMI cables.

Hope this helps!

Hey Marqs. The new mask presets are very intriguing. I tried them out however, and the end result I came up with was very unappealing and I’m pretty sure that I’m probably just not using them correctly.

Do you think you could post some base settings that you had in mind for using the masks? That way we have something we can work off of when…Read more

I may have not been very clear with my explanation. I meant that it would just ignore part of the incoming (RGB, Component, etc) video signal immediately so those vertical lines in effect never existed in the first place. Basically instead of grabbing a 240p signal it’s like it would be grabbing a 120p signal but filling in the other 120p with…Read more

Hey Marqs, after using the firmware for a couple more days now. I’m still liking it a lot. I do prefer the Load/Save options to be near the top of Settings like they used to be so I can save faster, but that’s just me. I’m still trying things out, but so far so good.

On the topic of arcade hardware, something came to mind as a possible feature.

Hey Marqs. I had a question and some feedback.

I’d like to test this mod but I wanted to check first. Both my OSSC units have the F3 mod done to them. As far as I’m understanding it, I can just remove that mod as it’s no longer needed? If it is still needed, then is this beta series mod compatible with the F3 mod? Just trying to be safe.

Also…Read more

I have a Yamaha receiver and when I press volume up/down on the Yamaha remote, it also adjusts the phase on the OSSC. I don’t want that to happen, but instead of using my Yamaha remote to control the OSSC, I was thinking I’d rather just use the volume up/down button on the OSSC remote to control my receiver.

I believe this is a pretty straightforward request and I think a lot of people could benefit from this.
