Morph4K Bridge Update

Morph 4K bridges are now shipping to the “early bird” customers who purchased the Morph at the old price point. If you pre-ordered a bridge you should have had your tracking number now. If not, check the Spam folder before reaching out to us.

So what about more Bridges? Well, we have some details we can share with you about that in this post. More Morphs and bridges will be on the way soon to us here at VGP and then everyone who wants one should be able to get one. Furthermore, we will be getting stock directly from the factory meaning no eye watering tariffs no matter what the current US administration does (unless of course you are in America in which case there’s probably no way around that).

We have been involved in the beta testing of the analogue bridge and In our tests the bridge has performed extremely well. Out of the box without any need to tweak the Bridge produced a stunning RGB and S-Video image. S-Video was particularly impressive, easily outperforming our 80s CRT monitor. People are already working on optimal profiles too. Overall I doubt anyone is going to be disappointed with the product and it will only get better and better as time goes on. With more units out in the wild now, we can expect to see more reviews and user feedback which will help the product grow and hopefully become the best 4K scaler on the market.

The only issue we did encounter that’s still not been fixed is when using the Bridge with Extron Crosspoint switches. In this situation you should use RGBHV input mode rather than RGBC, even if your source is composite sync. PixelFX are aware of the issue to and a fix should be available soon.

The Bridge has been a long time coming but it was worth the wait. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing all FPGA based systems, keeping it original hardware or any mixture of the two, there’s an affordable, flexible, powerful and feature rich 4K scaling solution for you.
