the cable I’m using is this one:

It is not clearly stated whether it is csync or compositve video for sync.
This morning I tried two new setups though:
1. Mega Drive Model II with this SCART cable:

This one I can tell your for sure it is csync as it is clearly stated in the label. I have exactly the same issues as with my previous setup.
2. PSONE SCHP 102 with a sync-on-luma SCART RGB cable. Same issues as with my previous two setups.
