    I suppose it depends on what you have downstream of the OSSC, if any of that is introducing lag. The OSSC won’t add any perceivable delay.

    In my case, my home theater receiver has several HDMI inputs, so, for analogue audio, since I have both SCART and Component inputs populated and I want them switched, I run that audio into my OSSC.

    Unfortunately, for my consoles with digital audio (PS2, Xbox), I have to route that audio directly from my component switch to my home theater receiver, and then additionally switch TX Mode from HDMI to DVI in order to get the OSSC to stop sending an audio signal so my receiver will correctly fall back from HDMI audio to TOSLINK.
