A shim of some sort could probably be developed that does this. It would need to have all of the inputs that the RT2X would have, so you can use your existing cables, and, if it didn’t have identical outputs for regular RCA/S-Video cables, it’d need a custom breakout cable, which would probably be best, but a pain to manufacture and drive up costs.

Neither SCART nor D-Sub for use with the RT2X makes sense to me, since it doesn’t support RGB, and ensuring you have the proper cable is going to be a hassle and an unnecessary expense. Perhaps the one thing that might make sense would be an RGB->YPbPr adapter with both SCART and DE-15 input that can send YPbPr to the RT2X; would be good for anything that outputs 15kHz RGB but not YPbPr (So, good for PS1, Genesis, Saturn, SNES, NES; not so good PS2, Dreamcast, unmodded N64, Xbox, GameCube).
