    I guess where my confusion comes in is when connecting my PC to my monitor without using the OSSC (the same monitor mentioned here when using the OSSC), I don’t get near the same image fidelity or proper aspect ratio (top and bottom borders). So I thought the OSSC is doing some form of image manipulation, and was then curious how to manipulate that further with 800 or 1024.

    Is there a guide as to exactly what each of these settings do? Wondering if I can “tweak” these further to attempt higher res:

    H. Samplerate :
    H. Synclength :
    H. Backporch :
    H. Active :
    V. Synclength :
    V. Backporch :
    V. Active :
