I have a PAL FRA N64 with “official” RGB mod (missing CMS components soldered under the mainboard).
The problem may not come from the RGB mod but the PAL GameCube RGB cable I am using, which include some capacitors.
After trying all the settings, the best PQ I have obtained is with Scaler mode and “SL sharp” algorithm (resolution 1920×1440).
I think the picture is better than all the other scaling algorithms with post processing scan line enabled.
