      Hi all,

I have an SNS-CPU-1CHIP-01 Super Famicom system and I finally got hold of one of the VGP RGB bypass boards.

I followed the fitting instructions, following the points for using bypass board’s CSYNC by closing J3 and removing R9, R10, R11, R12, C46 & Q1. I also removed C44, C45, and C47. I then fitted the board as normal.

I now get no sync to my OSSC and when I try my CRT I get a rolling image. Can someone help me figure out where I’m going wrong?

I have a dejitter board to install as well, will installing this fix the issue? Is there anything I need to consider when installing both boards? (I can only see examples using Voultar’s RGB Bypass, not borti one provided by VGP.

      Cheers!

Don’t worry, I figured out the problem – I hadn’t wired the CS pad to anything. After soldering it to the pin 151 on the S-CPUN (via the hole below R9 on the underside of the board), and testing it works, I installed the dejitter board (connecting pin 151 to CSYNC_i on the dejitter, and the CS pad to CSYNC_o).

Everything seems to be OK now – Hopefully that helps anyone else who makes a similar mistake!
