1080i passthrough?

BuckoA51.I’ve been trying to research this, and without owning an OSSC yet, but how does this device handle 1080i? A specific example would be Gran Turismo 4 for PS2. Is this device capable of handling this?

1080i passthrough was added in the recent firmware update, though we’d recommend avoiding interlace resolutions where possible on any HDTV setup.
