Hi guys is a pleasure to be speaking with you, I’ve had the OSSC for a While now and I’m loving it so here is my question:

How can I Output 480i/480p YPbPr in 16:9?

I usually play the 6th generation of consoles(PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) on my OSSC in some games Im able to do a 16:9 aspect ratio of the screen such as in FFXII, but in the screen I see only a 4:3 aspect ratio is this because the screen resolution of those consoles is 480i/480p that My OSSC cant fill my Screen(I can put the 16:9 option on my tv, but I want to record full screen if it’s possible with the OSSC) even when I activate the 16:9 in game with the passthrough feature I get the same 4:3.

I’ve also check the Output options but Im not able to figure out something that is decent atleast in my opinión or that doesnt look so washed out.

Any help Or recomendations would be appreciated.

Games on those 6th-gen consoles typically use anamorphic widescreen, which means they output a squished image in the 4:3 aspect, which is to be stretched to 16:9 on the display.

So, when you’re recording footage, you’ll either need to force the 16:9 ratio in your capture software or adjust the aspect ratio during post-production; the OSSC isn’t going to be able to adjust the aspect ratio for you.
