When i use 480p resolution, i get signal drops every 1-10 seconds with RetroTINK 2X Pro Multi-Format. Screen goes black, and then comes back. 480i works great and 720p drops signal once every 10-20 minutes. I have the latest firmware. I’m playing original Xbox with component cables. I have tried different hdmi cables. If i connect Xbox without retrotink, 480p works with no problems.

Can confirm i have this same issue, tried with both PS2 and Wii as well. Thought it was my TV but maybe not since you have the same issue. It is very specefic times also it seems, like when i try NFS underground for PS2 it cuts out a couple of times when the race starts, then it is fine the rest of the race. weird.

I thought it was my tv also, but i tried with my pc monitor and it does the same thing. I tried all the firmwares and v1.4beta seems to be working best. But with v1.4b picture is little darker than normal and it still drops signal every minute.

@Thasios I see you have a PS2 and 2x-Multi and issue with 480p pass-through. Have you upgraded or ran firmware versions 1.5 – 1.8? I just posted this new thread. I’m having issue with 480p after firmware versions 1.5.

Could you let me know if you have the same issue?

                Issue: 2x Multi – 480p passthrough unstable/not working (firmware 1.5-1.8)
