So, Mike Chi is now adding 4K output to the next RetroTINK.
This probably means that the OSSC Pro has to have 4K scaling and output as well to compete with Mike Chi.
Can 4K scaling and output support be added to the OSSC Pro? It would be great if that’s the case.

It’s not possible to add 4K support without major HW redesign and large investment of spare time, especially if 4K inputs and high refresh rates are considered. It wouldn’t make sense for me to dump a finished HW design just because someone else is working on 4K capable one.

Edit: double post. (Is this site running like very slowly for anyone else lately).

4K would be ideal, but OSSC Pro is sufficiently feature packed to be able to more than compete.

Was messing with 1920 and 2560 x 1440 yesterday on the dexx, thinking how they are so clear and nice-looking that having a CRT is becoming less of a necessity.

I wouldn’t go writing off the OSSC Pro just because it won’t have 9x, 6x is plenty sexy on the eyeballs.

I’m thinking there’s maybe a database issue causing some slowness on the site but running a scan and optimise yesterday didn’t seem to fully fix it, I’ve reached out to our support team.
