The OSSC Pro is an amazing product, and I’m really happy with it—fantastic image quality!

However, as someone with color blindness, I find it difficult to see the yellow highlight in the OSD. An option to customize the highlight color (e.g., red or another high-contrast choice) would make navigation much easier. I’m sure other colorblind users would appreciate this as well.

Would it be possible to add such an accessibility feature?

      Thanks!

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Someone mentioned this in another post too and I’m totally voting for this option.</p>

There is some old code to enable changing border color for OSD, but I suppose option for highlight color selection would be more relevant for this case. I can see if that could still make it into next fw release.

Funny enough I just came here to post about the same thing as the difficulty reading the OSD has been driving me nuts over the last few days. 😀

I made a post in the past suggesting possible color schemes if it’s possible to implement down the line. The idea of those was to make the regular and highlighted items differ in luminance, but looking back at my color schemes I think the regular text is a bit dark. Having multiple color schemes to pick from though (the current one included) would be useful both for visibility and to personalize the OSSC Pro a bit.

A few feature requests for OSSC Pro (Updated June 3 and previously May 22, 2024)
