Anyone had success connecting a C64 to a Koryuu and then to a Sony BVM with BNC?

Anyone had success connecting a C64 to a Koryuu and then to a Sony BVM with BNC only? Id like to know before i buy one as ive already wasted 75 quid on a JVC transcoder that doesnt work. Will Koryuu except the C64s weird s video? Can component to bnc work on the sony BVM20E1E? Ive plugged in RGB devices successfully but id like to know if i have to pick component in the menu or does it pick it up in RGB? I dont want to have to buy another nit of equipment to convert signals again.

Also. What cables would you recommend for connecting the c46 to the Koryuu and what component cables to BNC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
