Bad sound on AV1/2 3.5mm jack

      My new OSSC is mostly working great, but I’ve been experiencing a lot of headaches over the 3.5mm jack.

      The AV3 / Dreamcast port works fine, however when sending audio from a component console to the AV2 port I get nothing when actually outputting Component video. In addition plugging anything into the 3.5 jack while playing in RGB will eliminate sound out of the speakers.

      What’s even stranger is that when outputting RGB video to something like a Neo Geo or Genesis, suddenly the Component audio comes on. Katamari Damacy music playing on King of Fighters.

      I have no idea what’s going on here. I’ve updated to the latest firmware.

        Toggle the switch next to the AV2 audio port.

          Thanks! That fixed it. May I ask what the intended purpose is for switching it to AV1 Out? Wouldn’t the audio travel over HDMI for the RGB input in either event?

            Older HDMI devices and many DVI devices do not support audio, so it’s convenient to have a breakout for connecting to external speakers.
