I’m trying to hook up my Axunworks supergun (https://www.axunworks.com/product-p125502.html) via scart. Audio comes through but I’m not getting any image and the lcd screen on the OSSC Pro reads “No Sync”. This happens for all AV1 input options. I previously had this hooked up via a framemeister and didn’t have any issues with that setup. Any help figuring out how to fix this would be appreciated.

Update: after further testing I can confirm that the issue is PCB-dependent

          • Which PCBs do not sync as-is?
          • Can you try adjusting Analog Sync Vth from AV1-3 sync menu with these PCBs?
          • Alternatively, can you try connecting a VGA cable between Pro and the supergun (in this case you have to use AV3_RGBCS mode and may need to adjust TTL Hsync Vth)?

I’ve just tried Gunnail and Ibara so far, and Ibara is the one that works (though I need to turn off framelock to get a stable picture). I tried adjusting the sync Vth and TTL Hsync Vth but with no luck. I haven’t actually managed to get a picture from the VGA port for either of them. I’ll pull some other PCBs out tomorrow to test with to see if adjusting the sync signal helps with any of them.

Most other PCBs besides Gunnail do show an image but Battle Bakraid did also have this issue before adjusting the sync Vth. Gunnail doesn’t seem to work for any settings though.

Are there any details on the sync circuity of the supergun, e.g. can the sync shifting be bypassed and which kind of driver / series resistor the DIN sync output has? It’s very strange if you get ‘NO SYNC’ reported via VGA port – are you certain you selected AV3_RGBCS as input?
