      Hello,

I am facing the strange issue with my OSSC (purchased directly from VGP) while I am playing Resident Evil on my PAL Sega Saturn. This only occurs during the intro and on starting screen (OSSC says it is 625i) – vertical flickering line / lines (sometimes it is one line, sometimes two). I am facing the same issue during playing Duke Nukem 3D which I believe have the same resolution as Resident’s Evil starting screen.
This is happening for 480i/576i set to “passthrough”. When I am switching calling settings for 480i/576i to x4 lines disappear, but then the picture start to flicker.

Could you kindly help me and tell me what could be the reason of those blue lines? Could something be damaged or could it be repaired with some settings?

Considering it’s on the test screen, likely there is some hardware issue. Use the contact form if you are still on warranty.

Does the cable you’re using contain any kind of signal boosting or similar? I’ve seen that with those cables that claim to carry the HDMI signal further due to some in-built boosting. They work on some sources and not others.

            Hello,

This is standard, rather cheap cable. I have just ordered a new one with some more protection. It should arrive tomorrow, so I will report about the progress.

            Thanks !
