Hello,
At some point over the last two weeks, my OSSC has developed a blue tint when I try to run my Dreamcast through VGA. SCART and Component inputs are working fine.
The Dreamcast and OSSC have literally just been sat there, untouched since the last time it ran perfectly so I’m somewhat at a loss.
I thought it might be the cable, but I plugged it into a monitor that can take VGA and it’s fine through there. Wiggling the cable at the OSSC end does nothing – the picture is solid and clear other than the fact red seems to be completely gone out of the image. I also tried to increase the red gain but it makes no difference to the image at all.
Any ideas? The OSSC is several years old at this point, so I guess if it’s a hardware issue I’m screwed.
