      Hello,

Just installed the c64 video enhancement board. It is working and gives a nice picture, but I am experiencing rolling noise across the screen.
I installed it on a 250407 rev A board. Used the standoffs to lift the board and connected thru them gnd 1+2+3+4.
Flashed the fpga to fw 2.7. Am connecting directly to a dell 2410 lcd (tried another thru retrotink 2x pro, same noise). Tried another vic chip, also same problem.

      Any ideas?

Have you tried a different PSU? Can we see a picture of your install too?

Thank you for replying..I have ordered another psu from another brand (read on different forums the elektroware psu introduces interference on screen). Will report back with install pics if this is not the solution.

          best regards
          Nico

Received the new other “brand” powersupply and picture is now without interference. Crappy aftermarket powersupply I guess..

Yes unfortunately some of them aren’t great. Glad you got it solved.

I had the same issue on my C128 with the C128 video mod, when I turned on the Raspberry Pi (Pi1541), I had some ugly rolling noise as well. I replaced the power supply on the Raspberry Pi and the noise went away.

Thank you for posting your fix and thanks to David Carlin on FB for directing me to this forum.
