      Is it always exactly at 4% it stops? Try the reprogramming a good two dozen few times, the clone ones have some weirdness whereby they sometimes will only program some targets correctly one time out of 20 or something similar.

        Problem Solved 🙂

        I installed an older version of Quartus (20.1.1.720), after that the programing succeeded with the first attempt.

        Before I used the Quartus (22.1.2.922), with that version, even after 30 consecutive attempts, the programing always stopped at exactly 4%.

        After 2 years I can now enjoy the great picture quality.

        Thanks for helping me out and leading me in the right direction.

          Ah excellent, that confirms for me that some of these boards weren’t programmed correctly at the factory too. Thanks for letting me know, sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you enjoy your newly modded Spectrum.
