      Hey,

just tried setting up the DExx-vd_isl addon board. Sadly I get no picture output at all over HDMI, not even the test pattern.
You can see the setup here: https://i.imgur.com/EKhHcuV.png

What I noticed: is it correct that all LEDs are on when powering on the DE10 nano?

If relevant: I have a VGA2SCART pcb as SCART source connect which itself is connected to a HAS supergun via VGA.

As there is not output, how can I further troubleshoot the problem?

The DE10 nano itself is working as it is running Mister without any problem.

Are you sure you flashed the firmware correctly by following the quick start guide?

yes – not much you can do wrong there.

does the DExx-vd_isl require 3V SCART blanking voltage? Thats disabled by default on the VGA2SCART pcb from retroupgrades.

The firmware has not loaded correctly if all LEDs are on. If you insert the SD card to PC after flashing, do you see 64MB partition with 2 files on it?

I can see a 2 MB partition and a 61 MB partition as well as 29,06 GB free space on the 32 GB (29,19 GB listed in disk manager) micro SD card.

I used the image from the quick start guide: https://github.com/marqs85/DExx-vd_isl/blob/master/board/de10-nano/software/bootloader/sd_image/sdcard_cv.img.zip?raw=true.

Should I try another SD card?

Hashes of the files on the accessible volume:

The hashes look correct. Perhaps you should try another SD card.

problem solved – it really depends on the micro sd card.
booting from a Intenso microSDHC 32GB does not work.
booting the image from SanDisk Ultra 32GB worked first try.
