Got my ossc pro working from the hdmi out to my CRT from hdmi to vga and than a vga2scart box

Now everything looks fine most of the time but I recognise that this lines get messed up

Is there any solution to my problem or do I have to accept that

Which game is it? Do you know what the base resolution of that game is?

          It’s Cross code
          <p style=”text-align: left;”>No but already tried a 480p windscreen and 4.3 resolution</p>

            It’s 568×320

Tried a 640 resolution and still got this triple lines

Tried 320 too thought the pc wouldn’t output that, but got still the same problem

Right so you can see 568×320 doesn’t fit into 320×240 equally so you are probably going to run into issues. 640×480 is probably the lowest resolution you’re going to get from a modern GPU so let’s stick with that. Additionally, this game is known to have bad scaling of its own. Have you tried the scaling fix available here. https://github.com/Aidiakapi/CrossCode-ScalingFix ? I did get this game looking half decent with Shaderglass though I’ve not tried through Morph or OSSC Pro.

Ok so there is no general resolution for all games

                  Thx for the help

No, it entirely depends on what the game designers chose. What you’re trying to do is find a resolution your PC can display that best fits the base resolution of the game, and then throw away the bits you don’t want when you downscale. so for a 320×240 base resolution game in a 640×480 output mode, you’d simply throw out every other line.

Some base resolutions are listed here https://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/Scaling_pixel_art_tiles_on_modern_consoles/computers_with_Morph_4K  and https://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,161951.0.html
