      Would an old DVD recorder be a good transcoder for Composite console output to Component/RGB for OSSC?

      Or do DVD recorders output only disc playback thru such (RGB) interfaces?

        This will most likely work but could mangle a 240p signal depending on the machine.

          So I probably gotta find an older machine (ala no HDMI) that puts out 240p/480i?
