      I am trying to update the firmware on my 1.6 OSSC from version .78a to version 0.82-aud.bin and have followed the video guide posted here but keep getting “invalid data crc”. What am I doing wrong?

        You’re writing the .bin to the SD card using Win32DiskImager or dd, correct?

          Yes, win32diskimager is what im using.

            Try a different SD card.

              Ok, I will have to buy one. Is there a specific bbrand/model/size I should get? The one I’m currently using is a 32 gb samsung pro. Thanks.

                I got it working, It was because I was using a micro sd to USB adapter. I found my old SATA SD hub and hooked it up and worked right away.
