      Hello,
Is there a way for me to fix this issue, or more than fix make other settings actually be the correct aspect ratio?
Every setting apart from line 3x without optimized timings is the wrong aspect ratio
I was thinking it was my monitor but my capture is the same, as well as my 2nd monitor.
also line 3x without optimal timings has vertical banding, it’s the main reason i dont want to use it if i can.

line 3X – Correct aspect ratio, image too soft with vertical banding. gets worse when using reverse LPF to sharpen image.

Line 3X with 256×240 optimized – Image is perfect without vertical banding or blur – But Aspect ratio is wrong, if i swap to 8:7 image is then too skinny

Line 5X with 256×240 optimized 1920×1080 is also slightly too wide combined with it being partially being cropped.

Line 5X with 256×240 Optimized 1600×1200 force into 4:3 by scaling is slightly too wide

Line 5x with 256×240 optimized 1900×1200 8:7 is slightly too skinny.

No, aspect ratio in optimised mode will always be incorrect due to the integer scaling on horizontal axis inherent to the mode. You can only fix it if your display has zoom function, or you pair with secondary scaler. Ofc, in capture software like obs you can scale however you want also.

I wouldnt use optimised for 3-chip snes anyway, original signal is too blurry so you get incorrect pixel values at some transitions. (Very obvious in your 5x SMW screenshots)

You shouldn’t get jailbars in 3x generic, you either have a crappy cable or your console needs recap/rgb bypass or other mod.

It’s not just my snes tbh that has that on line 3X, i try to avoid using 3x when possible because it seems to have vertical banding on everything in 3x generic.
and it’s the only mode/situation that it appears in.
Guess something is wrong with my OSSC then.

Did you disable the LPF maybe? Try a reset settings.
