French MD2, Composite support?

      Long story short:

      – French Genesis/Megadrive 2, SCART output only as I understand it.

      – Need Component YPbPr for Retrotink2x -> digital domain

      – Need Composite for an old cheap TV -> analog domain

      – I’m open to RGB > Component > Composite setup, but I’d rather not if possible.

      Help?

        Why do you need composite?

        What does the French Megadrive use for sync?

          Because I have RF + Composite only TV.

          I don’t know about sync (prolly RGBs, unsure), but AFAIK it doesn’t have a video transcoder to convert RGB to anything else, so not even Composite/RCA SCART would work (to take the cable apart and solder RCA connectors).

            Usually RGB scart uses composite video for sync though, so unless the French MD uses clean csync (rare) it would work.
