      Thanks; might be game-specific… a number that I’ve tried don’t boot with the RGC component cable set to 576i at boot.

        There are a handful of US region games that won’t boot with the SCART cable (or any RGB cable set to 15khz). Nobody knows why this is the case unfortunately.

          I recall there was a PAL60 patcher tool that enabled patching games to explicitly set 480i mode on boot. Also, it’s possible to change DC video region to NTSC (i.e. 480i as default mode) by updating flash contents via a temporary HW modification.
