Got message line 5x unsupported – why?

      Hello

      my monitor is a 20″ TFT with 1600×1200 native res. Have set line 5x mode to output 1600×1200. Testing with a PS2 connected via component cable and game “Ratchet and Clank” with is a 480i game I believe. The OSSC says line5x mode is unsupported. Can anybody tell me why?

        5x mode is only available for 240p/288p sources. With 480i/576i you are limited to 2x (480p), 3x (1440i), 4x (960p).
