      Hello everyone,

I am looking for some support with setting up my new OSSC so that I can display my PS2 on my LG smart TV which otherwise doesn’t have a red, white and yellow or Scart connection.

At the moment, I have the connector coming from the back of the PS2 console and into a Scart converter, which converts the red, yellow and white cables to Scart. The Scart is then connected to my OSSC, and I then have a HDMI cable coming from the OSSC to my TV.

I seem to have audio coming out, but no video.

Having read some of the troubleshooting bits in the manual and doing some research, I think I might need a different cable to connect the PS2 to the OSSC, but I am unsure which one to get.

I am in the UK if this helps, and if anyone could tell me the name of, or give me a link to the cable that I need to solve this problem, and help me set things up from there, that would be great!

      Thanks in advance!

      Kind Regards

      Jay

You cannot use composite video with the OSSC, you must use either component video or RGB SCART. Plugging composite video into one of those SCART adapters does not convert it to RGB.

RetroGamingCables in the UK should be able to sell you an RGB SCART cable.
