Is there any benefit to using a CRT monitor over a LCD minus the input lag? Because I could get a 4k Oled with low input lag at some point?

It would depend, on both the CRT monitor in question and the 4K TV in question.

CRTs are also much better at handling resolution changes, so for instance in some games you go into your inventory and it chances from 240p to 480i. This happens without a glitch on a CRT but not always on a scaler/line doubler, though OSSC pro and possibly another product might have a solution for this soon.

CRTs are also compatible with light guns, HDTVs are not.
