      Mine is from last october so its on the older firmware 🙁 but still how does it work for this? It still works for my nes, so is it good enough for this too?

        Yes, it is perfectly fine for watching laserdiscs.
        In fact, the Composite mode on v3.1 is the same as the Video-Composite mode on v3.2.
