Yesterday I was rearranging my setup and when done accidentally connected my Dreamcast Pico PSU to my OSSC leading to some sparks and a puff of smoke. To my surprise the unit was still half functioning when I connected it to the proper power supply, indicating ‘Init error -2’ on the display. This made me wonder if there’s any chance of saving this unit if I replace the blown out component, or did I fry the entire circuit board and is it gone forever?

Init error -2 indicates there is an issue communicating with THS7353. If you want to check if there is any additional problem, you’d need to recompile the fw with that check bypassed.
