I want to buy an OSSC.. buy it now or wait for the Pro release ??

      Hi everyone !
      I want to buy an OSSC.
      As i’m an “unlucky guy”, I most of time buy hardware and … see few weeks after purchase that a new version / model is launched…

      So my question is simple : do you think I can buy an “classic” OSSC now or do you think that the PRO version will be release this year, 2020 ?
      I’m pretty sure that the “classic” OSSC will be supported, but I can see that we still have firmware v0.85… Will there be one day a 1.00 version ?

        I want answers too, we have no idea when its coming or if itll actually come out this year?

          The OSSC and OSSC Pro are quite different solutions, and the OSSC Pro, when that comes out, will be a degree more expensive. If you need something now, the OSSC is a good option. If you need something with proper scaling, track down a Framemeister. If you can wait an indeterminate amount of time for a solution, wait for the OSSC Pro.

          I’m pretty sure that the “classic” OSSC will be supported, but I can see that we still have firmware v0.85… Will there be one day a 1.00 version ?

          Being <1.00 does not mean it’s unstable or incomplete. Considering that most of the resources on the current hardware are exhausted, if there will be another 15 revisions to hit 1.00, I think it will be over a very, very long period of time.
