      Hello,

I just received my OSSC and while I love it so far, I didn’t realize how important the remote was. I purchased a programmable remote made by RCA (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003EYV210/ref=asc_df_B003EYV2105214098/) and set it to auto-cycle through various manufacturer codes, and once the OSSC’s IR-associated LED began to blink, I assumed I had landed on the appropriate programming for the remote. However, I can’t seem to trigger any commands via the remote, despite the LED blinking. For further reference: Every button I press on the remote triggers the LED blink.

Curious how else I can troubleshoot, or, if the remote is somehow sending signals within the range of the NEC IR profile, but not the appropriate ones.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Have you done the remote control setup procedure on the OSSC itself? http://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php?title=OSSC#Remote_control_setup

Well, I’m embarrassed to have missed that step! It did the trick. Thanks so much!
