I’m wondering if anyone can help

I purchased an NES with the TW RGB mod at a video game market. The mod uses the Sega Mega Drive 2 AV connector when using a generic SMD2 to HDMI adaptor it works fine, but when i try and use a SMD2 scart cable from retrogamingcables to my OSSC I get no image but the signal is being picked up by my scart switcher and my other consoles work fine. Can anyone give me some advise on what to do has I’ve tried with different OSSC settings with no luck and the generic SMD2 HDMI has a lot of input lag. The Sega Mega Drive 2 scart cable is a Csync scart cable

Perhaps whoever wired it up didn’t connect csync and only composite video for sync? What does the LCD on the OSSC say, no sync?

It just says no sync. but surely they is or I wouldn’t get a picture when using a cheap SMD2 2 HDMI adaptor?

Which fw version you have, and have you already tried adjusting sync opt -> analog sync vth? Also, is the RGB mod wired for sync with jumper J8 closed?

Not if the cheap SMD2 to HDMI adapter is wired to use composite video for sync rather than csync like your SCART cable.
