      I haven’t seen anywhere that the OSSC already does this, and I’m not sure if there are any limitations in the hardware that would prevent it, but I think it would be helpful if the OSSC could detect when only one audio channel is connected and either (with a setting) put it on HDMI as mono or duplicate the mono to both left and right channels.

      I think this could be helpful for anyone who has something like a NES, Atari 2600/VCS, Colecovision, etc. (ostensibly modded to some extent and/or run through something like a Koryuu) that only has mono audio and isn’t (or shouldn’t be) wired to bridge the left and right channels
