I have an N64 that has a really weird problem that i’m trying to fix. It boots games with no problem but sprites look corrupted. I uploaded a video to show the problem.
I’ve tried cleaning the cart connector, reflowing the pins on the board for the cart connector, changed the cart connector thinking it’s making a bad connection with the cartridge and it hasn’t solved the problem. The board in great condition, there’s no corrosion whatsoever and all pins on the chips have been checked for cold solder joints.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?
Looks like a RAM issue to me but that’s just a wild guess.
