      Hey there!

      I recently bought an OSSC. It works quite good, giving me a 2x image with my N64 on my Sony Bravia kdl-60w605b. I got curios and tried to output a 4x picture. This is where the fun ends. My TV doesn’t support it. Both of my Samsung PC monitors do and it looks much better than just 2 lines. I read about tweaking and sampling options. Yesterday I spend a lot of time to get this working and failed. I just don’t get how to set the parameters right and I don’t have a clue about the whole thing at all. My Nintendo is a French pal system which I modded via soldering smd parts to it (official mod). Does anyone has an idea on how to manage the settings of the OSSC? I would appreciate a proper idiot friendly tutorial.

        In this case, tweaks to sampling or active area will not help regardless, Sony W-series TVs are simply not compatible with anything outside of 2x mode.
